As a California Distinguished School and National Blue Ribbon School, Montgomery High School is recognized throughout the state and the nation as exemplary. In academics, the arts, and athletics Montgomery strives to bring out the best from each individual. While we are proud of these honors and the successes enjoyed by our students, we also recognize the need to continue to analyze, refine, and enhance our teaching and learning programs.

Montgomery High School, to better prepare its students for the challenges of tomorrow has created the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program, and the Business, Engineering, Medical, Journalism, and Drama Pathways. In addition Montgomery High School offers photography, chorus, music, art, and many courses designed to enrich our students' future.

Montgomery High School has ninety-eight highly qualified, professional, dedicated certificated staff members. In total they have earned thirty-eight master's degrees and eighty-nine bachelor's degrees. There are forty support staff positions. There are four administators, four full time counselors and one part time counselor. All work together as a team that cares about the individual student and is committed to excellence in education.

Montgomery is the place where great things can happen. It is tradition. It happens here because the students, staff and faculty believe in making a difference. Be it on the playing fields, in the classrooms, on the stage, or in the community, Montgomery is known as the place that sets the standard for everyone else.
